PU Skin Weft hair is produced using a special skin type root area which mimics the scalp and the hair strands are hand sewn through the skin to result in a more natural look whilst also minimising the bonding thickness.
PU refers to the type of material that hair strands are sewn onto. Unlike a cloth material, which can be itchy to those with sensitive scalps, PU material is a thin gauze-like, nearly transparent material which is much more comfortable to the touch. Hair strands are attached by hand-knotting them to this material, one strand at a time.
At Ahead of hair our PU invisible weft is made by hand-knotting Remy hair to a very thin and transparent PU (Poly-urethane coating) with 100% human hair. The individual strand is tied by hand instead of machine.
PU Skin weft can be attached into your parted hair using double sided tape or liquid gold hair glue . It gives the appearance of hair growing from your own scalp. Can be used in the front part of one head /difficult side areas.
